Health and fitness ain’t just about the food you eat and the workouts you do. REAL heath starts with treating yourself with respect and kindness FIRST and FOREMOST! .
You see, eating well and exercising comes naturally once we master self-love and self-respect because there is no other option. When you care for yourself DEEPLY, you won’t be able to control it, you’ll be compelled to engage in practices that bring EVEN MORE strength, power, joy, energy, health, wellbeing and awesomeness into your life. .
Self-Kindness is my fave practice, because it makes life deliciously beautiful! There is nothing more joyous than treating yourself like the KING or QUEEN that you are everyday! Good habits breed good feelings, and where positivity goes, more positivity flows! Self love turns you into a magnet for good vibes!
My daily self-kindness rituals look a little something like this: Meditatation, treating my skin with loving care, celebrating my body, say NO way more often, setting boundaries like a motherf*****, lighting candles, luxurious baths (once or twice a week), saying my affirmations daily, saying YES to change and opportunity, drinking water, playing like a kid, listening to good music and dancing daily, carving out time to spend with friends and family who bring positivity into my world, avoiding toxicity, preparing healthy meals with love and intention, practicing gratitude for all the INCREDIBLE things in my life, and most importantly treating each day as one GREAT BIG special occasion! .
